Warning Description: Winter Weather Advisory

Warning Date: 9:13 am CST on February 11, 2008

WarningSum:...Winter Weather Advisory Remains In Effect Until 6 Pm Cst This
Afternoon...

Warning Message:A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 PM CST this
afternoon. 
Through 11 am...the main band of wintry precipitation will continue
to push east northeast across locations from Nevada to Osceola...and
Warsaw. To the north of this line...locations from Butler...to
Clinton and Sedalia may experience a brief period of freezing
rain...freezing drizzle or light sleet into the early afternoon
hours. Further north precipitation amounts will be limited...with
only patchy areas of freezing drizzle anticipated.
With temperatures only in the upper teens to lower 20s...a light
glaze of ice may quickly accumulate on roadways...parking
lots..sidewalks...cars...power lines and trees...creating a hazardous
situation. 
A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow...sleet...or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities...and use caution while
driving.
